Philadelphia Flower Show...

Last night Jess and I went on a little date. We had dinner at the Reading Terminal (yum!) and then we headed over to the Flower Show. It was my first time at the show and it was really impressive. The best thing was the amazing scent when we walked in! It was awesome! The whole theme was Italian Flora and the various displays were so cool! There was however one Irish display?? Who Knows!
It was a really fun night out and Jess and I have lots of stories and memories from our adventures :)

Some Funky modern display...

No, I didn't post this picture upside down... the entire display was upside down, so the roots etc were at the top and the flowers hung below. It was all in these cool purples and blues with very awesome lighting.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes...

While we were waiting for Callen to arrive we had lots of room swaps to take care of. Kira's new room (Kenzie's old one) is finally finished and I thought I'd share a little peek. Most people know that I have a slight paisley fettish and I found the perfect thing for KJ's room at Uppercase Living.

The one wall... Kenzie's old dresser is now also a changing table.

Woo Hoo! Paisleys are finally up! It took me weeks to get the layout right and to put them up! I kept working on it for a little while and then I would get frustrated and give up. Today, I was determined! I am thrilled with the result. It really finished her room. Well, actually matching furniture would "finish" it, but we're going to wait until she's in a bed to consider that project. :)

The "Big Kids" new and improved room... Since they're now sharing a room we have the bunk beds back up again. We also got them new matching bedding and sheets (thank you WalMart- it was only 19.99 for twin comforters... who cares if they feel like sandpaper! j/k they're actually pretty nice)We also painted the top half of the room blue (both Kenz and Kade's favorite color) and had some curtains made to match. I bough extra flat sheets and just had E's mom work a little of her magic. Thanks again Mom!
The kids like their new room and although I'd like for everyone to have their own space, we're so grateful that the space is big enough and that the kids are doing great together!

K.J... such a nerd!!

While we were playing this morning, Kira spotted Eric's goggles hanging up on the key rack (he swims at the YMCA during the winter.) She was so excited to wear them! So, she spent a portion of the morning playing in the blanket "fort" while wearing her sweet goggles. Could she be any more nerdy and cute all at once?

In Like a Lion!

Well March sure came in like a lion! We got lots of snow today and the kids LOVED it! Here's a view of our backyard... (Sorry the patio furniture is kind of a mess!)

Fashion statement... No, we did not buy boots nor snowpants for Kira this winter... So, she gets, tights, socks, jeans, plastic bags, and old sneakers! I totally remember having to wear plastic bags at some point in my life :)

Sunday Morning

So this morning it was just Callen and me again. Eric took the older 3 to church... We're just waiting until this nasty flu season is over before we bring Cal to church. After he ate this AM he was chillin on the floor (on the awesome quilt that Gmom Bunney made for him) so I snapped a few random pics...

I love that I can enjoy fun baby boy clothes and Kira's fun girly clothes all at once. Thanks Becca for sharing AJ's clothes with us! This is an AJ hand-me-down :)

Papa Time

Papa is so great with the kids! Yesterday, my mom and I went to Kohls with Callen (spring clothes shopping) and Papa stayed with the other 3 kids. It was really nice to be out shopping with Mom and Callen was a good little man... not a peep for the 2 hrs that we were out.

I took this picture of Papa and Callen last week and I really liked it. :)
