Kira cracks me up because she always has her legs crossed like a little lady. The other day she was watching Dora and I walked past to see her sitting like this... hands and legs crossed. I think it's adorable and I don't ever want to forget this little princess pose.

And not to be inconsistent... She crosses them when she's on the potty too! Yup! I tried to no avail to get her not too b/c I assumed it would be a wee bit messy, but we've never had an issue and now it's just the norm :)

Finally a few minutes to blog... the kids are all sleeping, it's snowing outside, and Eric and I just made cookies! Now this is my kind of Saturday afternoon!

So yes, Callen was a complete surprise and yes, he's kind of fussy and not the chill laid back kid I'm used to, and yes, he makes me a tired mommy... BUT man, oh man, I LOVE this little monster.

And I thought I'd toss this one in here too. I was just testing out my camera after having it repaired and I really like this one. I love the teeth and her smile, and the fact that she's not sassing me! :) We're having a bit of a struggle of wills right now, but it'll pass :)
I will note that she's such a help with the babies and I do love her to pieces, even if I will be going prematurely grey.

Last week Kira got a little chop chop. Her hair was long, but thin and straggly... my philosophy is to cut it and it will get thicker. So we got a cut and I love it. I forgot to take an "after" picture, but I will.

New Moon 12:01am

Well last night (early this morning) was the New Moon premiere. Thankfully it actually lived up to all the hype. We all pretty much hated Twilight the first time we saw it, but this one was SO much better and closer to the book. I'm pretty sure we all LOVED our few hours away in our little vampire and werewolf world!
I love these girls and they made it so much fun waiting for the movie for months, watching every interview and trailer, and then watching the movie!!
Only 221 Days Till Eclipse comes out!

Countdown to New Moon

So the Blog got a temporary facelift. Thursday night (well Friday morning) at 12:01AM I am going to see the New Moon Premiere with Jess, Steph, Jen B, Jen M, and Missy. We have had our tickets ordered since the day they went on sale. I know it's crazy, but I really do enjoy the series. The writing is not the most exceptional, but she does grab her readers and once she gets you, you're in! I waited to read the entire series until this summer b/c I needed time when I wasn't working b/c I knew I there was the potential to become obsessed and ignore my work and kids. The summer allowed me to do that! :)
Out of our little clan Missy and Jen B are tied I think for reading the books the most times... something like 4-6 times each. That's a lot of pages... about 2,443 to be exact for the series... multiply that times 4,5, or 6 times and wow! More reading that Eric has done in his entire life! :)
We're getting together Thursday night for a special themed dinner courtesy of Jen B and then watching Twilight and playing the New Moon game, and then wearing our New Moon Team Edward or Jacob tees and going to the premiere!
So fun!!
ok, so no mean comments. You can judge, but just remember... it's not good to do that- even if we deserve it!
