Well, it was a Valiant Effort

We made quite an effort to get to the Phillies parade today, but in the end it just wasn't meant to be... We arrived at the Colmar Train station at about 9:15am and there were litterally over 1000 people there waiting. We had to wait in a long line just to get near the platform. Eventually two trains came. The first only let on about 25 people and then the next on stopped, but did not open the doors to let anyone on! The kids were bummed!
Waiting patiently...
The Nobles and Schmidts (who were supposed to get on the train in Doylestown and meet us) didn't get a train either, but they decided to drive. They did make it to the parade and said it was awesome, but they didn't get home until almost 7pm! So, really for us it was a blessing in disguise b/c the kids would have been crushed if we missed halloween with the neighbors.
So we came up with a plan B and had a great day together.
