Tuesday night was the BIG Night! It was purely awesome! We had a super-fun pre-party with awesome "snacks" (Schmidt that was for you) and watched all the interviews and press for the movie. We took team pictures and enjoyed being dumb girls in love with vampires and werewolves! We'll all be sooo sad when the final movie is done, but then we decided we can have movie marathon parties and watch them all together! :)
So to make the night even a little more exciting (not that we needed an more, b/c we were all a bit nutso) Jess started having a good amount of contractions during the pre-party. She's due at the end of the month. We all made it very clear that if she went into labor during the movie that she would be driving herself to the hospital! :) So, thankfully the baby got the hint and kept things under control for a while... Then, during the movie they started up again and we were timing them at about 9-12 minutes apart. That wouldn't be a huge deal for most people, but Campbell was born about a hour after Jess got to the hospital last time. So, we have to be a bit cautious. Right at the end of the movie Jess had a few that were only about 6 mins apart, so it was time to call the Dr. Of course, he told her to come right in to see what was going on. So, at 2:30am, dressed in our Twiligh tees, Jess and I headed to the hospital. We spent the night awake monitoring the baby and contractions and everything was fine and the contractions slowed down enough that at around 8am they let her go home. So, we not only saw Eclipse, we also got to see the sunrise and man oh man we were tired! We hadn't pulled an all nighter in a VERY long time (I'm not actually sure that I ever had- lol!) It was really nice to be there with Jess and I know that Baby Jackson will be making his/her appearance in the next few weeks!
