It's always fun to have the postman arrive at your door around Christmas! That's not so true in my world anymore... I answered the door expecting some present or package too large to fit in the mailbox, but instead was greeted by him saying, "You're not going to be happy," and then holding up about twenty of my Christmas cards that I had mailed about 4 days before. He was right- I am not happy! We did Christmas Postcards this year and as normal on a postcard the To: and From: go on the right side. Well for some reason the machines (why can't we ever do anything by hand anymore?? I'm so sure that Santa's elves would not be using machines, they would hand sort my cards and they would have arrived perfectly safe and sound)were not reading the correct address to send it to and they were all sent TO ME! rather than being FROM ME! Ugh! So I was informed that I could take a black sharpie marker and draw all over my cards, crossing out this, circling, that, putting and X here (which thrills me because I didn't design these or anything- had I wanted black sharpie all over it I would have added it in the first place!)To make matters even stranger, last night Jess and Steph both told me that they got my card in the mail without any trouble??? So, here's the plan...I am taking my un-sharpied cards back to the post office to request some hand sorting. Man the P.O. is testing my Christmas Spirit! I'm sorry if you don't get your card in a timely fashion and even more sorry if it doesn't arrive at all! So I'm not a fan of sharing my card on the blog before everyone gets it, but who knows what's going to happen! Here it is in all it's glory :( Merry Christmas from the Mangins!
