Mouse Soup...

Last week I went outside to check on the kids after Eric and I cleaned up after dinner. I found these rascals very happily playing. They told me they were making "mouse soup"... sounds like a fun pretend game- umm no! They had actually found parts of a dead mouse (it was very dead- like basically bones) and had gotten the wheel barrow, added a few ingredients (including a juicebox from the neighbor's house) and ta-da... Mouse Soup.

Here is a portion of the soup... That furry, nasty thing on the middle, right is the "mouse" ingredient.

Needless to say I did explain that this was really dirty and not something they should play with... however we did let them finish b/c it was sooo past that point and plus, the soup was almost ready! :)
