Kira's 12 month Appointment

Well now that Kira is officially one, we took her for her 12 month well check. Actually, I had a school meet and greet for Kenzie at QCS, so I had Eric take her to the pediatrician for me. My favorite part of Dr. visits is finding out what percentiles the kids are in for height and weight. I must have reminded Eric 1000 times to be sure to listen when the doctor told him the percentiles... well as you can guess, he didn't get them, but luckily I was able to go online and print off the chart that the Dr. uses. :) I know it's a little crazy, but it's fun.

Well, there was very little surprise to find that Kira is above the 95th% for height and right about 25th% for weight. That's right about what she has been since she was 3 months old. So, she seems to be maintaining her Mangin stature. Can you imagine if we had to find out what percentiles we were in? Yikes!

I guess while we're on Dr. appointments, I can mention that I had an OB appointment on Tuesday and everything looks good and I got to hear the heartbeat again. On Sept. 17th I have another appointment and they will give us our ultrasound paperwork so we can find out what we're having! The only bummer is that I can have it after Sept 20th, but we'll be on vacation until Sept 27th, so most likely I have to wait until Sept 29th!! Ahh!! God really likes to just continuously teach me patience!! :)

So sorry for the rather boring post, but I know lots of family likes this kind of update.
