Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's day to all! We had a very special, low-key father's day. We needed a day to relax after the week we've had. Unfortunately I have been waking up terribly early lately, so I was downstairs getting things ready at 6am (the rest of the week it was 5:15am!) It was nice though because it gave me time to clean, finish wrapping Eric's gift, and get everything set to make breakfast for the troops. Kira joined me at 6:45am (I didn't want her noise to wake everyone else up) and Kenzie got the award for lastest sleeper with 8:30am!

All ready to see what it is...

We got Eric a guitar for father's day (and birthday- in August). He's been mentioning wanting to casually learn to play, and he's so musically inclined that we thought he'd really like one. He was excited and really surprised! Although, the kids definitely played it more today than he did! They had a ball! Happy father's day Eric- you are the best dad in the world!
