Happy St. Patty's Day!!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!! I know that for most people March 17th is not a big deal, but for the Hughes family it is!! Perhaps that has something to do with my Nana living in Charlestown, MA which is just about as Irish Catholic as you can get! Every year growing up we would go and have dinner at an Irish pub where they would have blasting loud Irish music and green food and of course CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE!! It sounds gross, but it's one of the best meals ever! Even Eric is a huge fan now! So, this is just a shout out to all my family and to all the fine Irishmen out there!

That meal looks gross...but I'm impressed you're carrying on in the Hughes tradition.
I think I have the tiniest bit of Irish in me and my family ate that every year...so this year I made it all by myself....it is delish!!!

The girls and I will be heading to my parents' house tomorrow for a belated Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage. I live for this annual meal! However, Bryan does not. He will be at the Sixers game and we specifically planned it so he won't be around to eat it! Oh well, his loss! I'll eat a serving for you.
