THE SWINGSET PROJECT

Sping was in the air, and for us that means a HUGE project that I somehow convince Eric to work on. Last spring was the patio, this spring it was the swingset. We were able to save thousands of dollars by purchasing a set that "REQUIRED ASSEMBLY" :) They didn't mention that there would be 1000s of pieces of wood that were unmarked and that would require us to measure and letter. The whole "inventory process" took Me and Eric 5+ hours, just to find, label, and organize everything! All in all the project took Eric 25 hours... not too shabby when the company said 25 hours for two skilled workers!! If anyone knows Eric, you know he does things very quickly and efficiently. Sorry I don't have a pic of the finished product, I will post one soon... it has swings and a huge tunnel and lookout too. It's kind of insanely massive if you ask me!

The 1st steps. Lots of leveling required b/c our yard isn't flat.
The fort is shaping up
Very impressive...
