I can't remember the name of this house, but you can only get to it by boat. It sits right on an island of solid rock. It has 23 rooms, 10 bedrooms, no electriticy except for the kitchen and it can be yours for a week for $7,500. Nah... a little too rustic for me.
it has to be durable from the outside b/c of the surf, but the inside is supposed to be amazing and historic.
looks like something from a horror movie if you ask me :
There were people waving to us from the widows walk atop the house

Our captain. His name was Green Hickory Brett... his parents were hippies and wanted a different name. I like it a lot and it made me sad that we didn't name Callen -Grey or Greyson. :(

We sailed along the coast for a little while and saw tons of amazing homes. This was built by the creator of the Lee & Perrins Worcheshire sauce. If you look closely the chimneys were built shaped like the bottles of sauce!
Di was enjoying her birthday sail

This one had a neat story... the owner's wife was pretty high maintenance and she wanted to move back to Sweeden. To try and convince her to stay in Newport he would keep adding additions onto the house to keep her busy. The tower part was one of those additions. :)

The whole gang after our sail. Thanks Jacqui and Jon for such a wonderful time!
And here's most amazing yacht I've ever seen in real life. I looked it up online and it can be yours for $125,000 per week! It comes with a private helicoptor, a huge speed boat that we actually thought was a completely different owner (because it was so huge) jet skiis, hot tub on the top deck etc. It was amazing!
No it's not a cruise line- it's a privately owned boat!
and of course the birthday girl ignored all "private" signs and boarded the starship for a photo opp. I was so nervous taking the picture that I missed the words on the life preserver! Oops!

Just a few more neat pics

We spotted it before we took our sail, but we were lucky enough to dock next to it when we got back.

Why are these kids smiling??

Because they were at the beach for this picture! We love the beach and all it has to offer and that's where we're heading right now for the next 4-5 days. I'll try to catch up on posting soon! Newport, RI... here we come!

BIG BOY little girl

I watched Campbell last week for a few hours and I couldn't resist taking a few quick size comparison pics. They might be over a year apart, but they are pretty close in size. I think Cal will weigh more than she does in about a month.

She only has a tiny edge on him in length
I'm pretty sure his head is bigger.
Three kids looking... no chance at all! :)
I must say I was feeling a little proud though... I had all 5 kids napping at the same time. I actually sat in the sun and read! It was awesome! Cam didn't take as long of a nap as she should of (sorry Jess) but they all did pretty well for 5 kids in one house :)

{Roasting}

Tonight we had the neighbors over for a little fire. It was such a beautiful evening and the kiddos had a great time!
Of course we wore our sunglasses to keep the smoke away!
Pretty Kenzie Grace
Oh My! Kira squeezed one!
That's right... lick it off little lady!
