Vacation Fun...
Today Eric and I were both on vacation. It was AWESOME! We had a great day and for the first time since I started working at Agora I took pictures! Not just snapping some here and there... we actually planned ahead and took some of Kaden and Kira (Kenzie was at school.) During our little "shoot" Eric and I were both kind of frustrated, thinking that we weren't getting ANY good shots, but I think it always seems that way when you have 2 kids that are constantly moving. BUT, in the end, when we looked through them we got some that we were really happy with. We still have a ton to learn with the new camera, but overall we couldn't be happier. So here's a little slidshow of some of the pics that I really like. This one (above) is one of Eric's favs... Kaden decided to eat some gingerbread train in between shots... thus the crumbs on the face. That's real life though :)
I didn't give her permission to grow up...
These pictures of Kenzie are great, but man does she seems so grown up.
I am very proud of who she is and who she's becoming, but whoa do I feel like any signs of being my little baby are gone.

We finally had some time today to work with our new camera and I'm really happy with it. I love b & w, but the color shots looked great too! Yay Nikon!

Kids Bathroom...
Jess had an Uppercase Living Party about a month ago and I got custom names made for the kids' bathroom hooks. I had been planning to paint them and this is SO MUCH BETTER! It took us like 20 minutes to put them all up and Eric is thrilled that they come off when we're sick of them- no need to repaint!
Of course we left the 4th hook blank b/c we still are nameless. :( so #4 will go up in a few weeks hopefully.

A shot through the very dirty mirror... sorry. :)
I love the kids' bathroom. We painted it a few months ago. It's a really burnt, sandy, mustard yellow. We got a cute flip flop curtain that has my type of colors in it... browns, orange, reds, etc. So it's kind of a flip flop theme, but not an over the top kid one. All I need is something to go on the wall over the toilet... I keep looking, but haven't found something that's just right. I'm pretty sure the kids don't mind :) nor will they notice when I do find something!
And yes, I am aware that this is the type of blog post that certain people hate (you know who you are) but I was excited about the letter and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Uppercase Living!

Toddler/Preschool Christmas Party
Becca started a fun tradition last year of having a party for the younger kids for all of the holidays. The kids love it and somehow, it never gets chaotic- even with ALL the kids! We usually do a craft, make a fun snack together, read a few books, and play some games. The moms love being together with all the little ones and having a chance to chat and catch up. Thanks Bec for planning this one. It was great!

Kaden and his Brother...
Little Bakers...
Sorry, but Kenzie was in time-out... I'm not leaving her out on the blog, but she was in her room most of the time. Oh the joys! :)
Some cookie sights...
3rd or 4th?? Annual Wrapping Party
This was either the 3rd or 4th year that Karen has hosted a wrapping party for all the girls. It's a time when we can bring presents and wrap, visit, and eat good snacks. I never bring presents to wrap (b/c I'm always already done wrapping- I like to get it done as I go) so Karen and Taira always get lots of free help from me. I tried to charge 50 cents each this year, but it didn't go over well :) It was a great night as always- thanks Kar for having us!
The host being goofy... You just knew it would make the blog :)
