So part of this song was on SYTYCD tonight. I immediately needed to find it on the internet. She's a Christian singer/songwriter. Anyhow, I love the song and I love the lyrics even more. The You Tube video is a little rough, but the version on the show (taken from the CD "Painted Red") was really beautiful.
Anyway- since the quality is terrible, I thought I'd share the lyrics too. Ok, I need some sleep or I will be grouchy mommy and Cyber teacher tomorrow :)
"Your Hands" by JJ Heller
I have unanswered prayers
I have trouble I wish wasn't there
And I have asked a thousand ways
That You would take my pain away
That You would take my pain away
I am trying to understand
How to walk this weary land
Make straight the paths that crookedly lie
Oh Lord, before these feet of mine
Oh Lord, before these feet of mine
When my world is shaking
Heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave Your hands
When You walked upon the Earth
You healed the broken, lost, and hurt
I know You hate to see me cry
One day You will set all things right
Yea, one day You will set all things right
When my world is shaking
Heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave Your hands
Your hands
Your hands that shape the world
Are holding me, they hold me still
Your hands that shape the world
Are holding me, they hold me still
When my world is shaking
Heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave You when...
When my world is shaking
Heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave...
I never leave Your hands

Happy Birthday Big Willy
So it's Will Smith's Birthday and my husband is a HUGE Will Smith fan... he loves his music because his songs are some of the very few that Eric can actually make out the lyrics to and sing along with the correct words. Sad, but true.
So here's a major throwback... Flashback Friday if you will... (pun intended!)

Kaden's 1st Day of School... Again!
Let's try this again...
Kade is in Pre-K this year. With a November birthday, he doesn't make the cut for kindergarten. He's in Mrs. Landis' Toucan class 4 mornings a week. He had a wonderful first week and he is really enjoying all the learning and of course the recess time!!Thumbs up for a great first day

Bye little bro!
Kira was sooo excited and kept hugging him and totally made him laugh and made all his first-day jitters go away! Thanks Baby Girl!

OCNJ Days... 3- end... I guess I didn't keep up too well with the blogging!
Well we're home and I failed miserably at blogging each day. I ended up having to do more work on Va-k than I would have liked, so thus no blogging. Here's a quick (kind of) recap of the end of the vacation. From Tues-Sat. it rained every single day. Ugh. We still had tons of fun family time together!
Sun Night with the MottsCute one!
Love that Cal is smiling behind his nuk!
The entire fam... we should have closed the blinds bc it's all shadowy... We planned on beach pics, but the weather was not going to cooperate. :(
Dinner at Mama Leones in Wildwood... A tradition that we decided to end after this year. The pizza was no good! Mack and Manco's maybe?? :) Silly boy
So grown up she is!!
Kenz and I went on this pretty fast roller coaster... and for the record.. my children will never go on another cheap ride like this again. I seriously thought we were going to fly off the tracks and fall to our deaths. It was sooo unsafe! Of course Eric will fight me tooth and nail on this one...
Ready for take off
Here we goooo!!!Ready for take off
Posing once again...
Rainy Pumpkins
If you know the Mangins, you know we pretty much LOVE the fall and all that goes with it. So, Sat. in the rain we took the kids to pick out their first pumpkins of the season. They each got a nice big one and we're going to paint them in a week or so. I thought this was a cute pic that depicted our little outing quite well.
